Hi, welcome on my blog. I’m Jochem Oomen (1984), inhabitant of Brussels and I’m traveling and photographing since I was 12 years old. I really enjoy sharing my experiences with you.
As a traveller, I take my camera always with me. For example, I like to discover other Western European countries. I also enjoy the Balkans and Latin America. But my all time favorites are Albania and Colombia.
I’m capturing daily life in the European capital as well. I’m creating images, working together with organizations and exhibiting and publishing my work.

Echt mooi, om te zien hoe je oneindige (soms bizarre) creativiteit en interesse in mens en cultuur vanuit onze schooltijd zijn weg vindt in elke mogelijke vorm! Interesse in kleine lokale cultuur tot brede en internationale, van Mulderbus, NJET, uuuuh ja! en eeuwig waterhoofd tot Manu Chao en Zuid-Amerika. En zich uit van fotografie tot schrijven tot theater tot het onderwijs. Ooit ook radio. En nu met een blog om de zaak bij elkaar te houden.
